So originally this post was supposed to be just to announce the voting for the fan art contest, but just before I started writing it, a friend on Facebook made me aware of something incredibly exciting. Resistance is a semi-finalist for the
2015 Clive Staples Award!! Yes, I almost screamed and woke up my brother when I saw it. I've voted for nominees in previous years, and to see my book and my name in it this year is . . . I can't even describe it. So do hop over to the website and cast your votes (voting is open until June 8th). There are great books on the list, and this is a great way to support Christian speculative fiction. I can say from experience, it's not the easiest genre to market. Certainly not like historical romance. ;)
Now, for the fan art contest. Voting is open now! I received over 60 submissions for the contest, and it was an absolute delight to see them all. You can head over to the
Ilyon Chronicles webpage to see them. There is a voting form at the bottom. Voting is open through June 8th, and the winner will be announced on the 10th.
